The SensorGateway is your starting building block of any sensor deployment.
It is the host to which sensors connect to.
It is the device that applies logic to sensors.
It is the device that talks to applications (SNMP, Modbus TCP, JSON).
Fill in the form to get live access from your browser to the web interface of the different SensorGateways you see here.
Airflow Sensor
The ambient temperature measurement checks if your cooling is still operating and if the room has the desired temperature setting. Combined with the humidity sensors, it ensures that your equipment is running within manufacturers' limits.
Temperature fluctuations impact equipment's lifespan. Humidity affect electronics and may result in corrosion.
Temperature & Humidity Sensors
Water is the enemy of electricity. Water leak came come from multiple sources: leaking roof, street flooding, snow melt and many more. The leak sensor is a water leak sensitive cable that is put around the perimeter of the BESS.

By default the maximum length on a daisy chain is 100m/330ft.
The DAISY-BOOSTER extends that length. Based on a LED coloring code (green, amber or red) you know where to put it in the daisy chain connection.
In this live demo, the booster is inserted after the fifth daisy chain sensor (on its right). A 300m/980ft RJ45 CAT6 cable runs from sensor 5 to the booster. Behind the booster 2 additional sensors are connected and reporting.

Li-ion fires are preceded by gas venting of battery cells. Typically this stage gives a few minutes warning before batteries produce smoke and the fire starts. CO2 is the earliest gas present in a venting event and the most stable. Combined with VOC, it provides a good indication of gas venting events.
The Daisy Chained CO2, VOC, Temperature sensor has been designed to detect off-gas events ahead of a thermal runaway.

The presence of dust accumulates in equipment then at first power usage will increase due to the harder working fans and CPU's running at higher temperatures. Ultimately electronics may fail due to short circuits or corrosion.
The particle sensor monitors for airborne particles in the air of multiple sizes: PM1, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10.

The quality of power is one of the main reasons causing batteries to fail. This sensor is able to detect up to 85% of all power quality issues. Plug & Play. No electrical work needed.

The DAISY-STARTER connects to the SensorGateway (BASE-WIRED). 1 Daisy starter per base unit is supported. It acts as the hub between the daisy chained sensors and the SensorGateway.

The Monitoring Touch Appliance is a Microsoft Surface GO2 based open computer that enables you to log, monitor and alert on data from your equipment and sensors right at the edge.
With the optional Cellular it can alert you anytime, anywhere and everywhere: email, SMS or Slack. Get alerts even when your network is down.

Thermal runaways of equipment will go undetected with traditional temperature sensors. Indeed cooling units will try to compensate the heat problem resulting in anomalies to go undetected.
The thermal camera sensor looks at the equipment. It monitors the surface temperature for anomalies.
In 4800 points.
Every 2 seconds.
